S	學校實施小班教學，基本每班派位名額為 25 人。若在統一派位階段有實際的需要，學校每班或需加派學生。小班教學著眼教學策略，涉及教學帶動的分組法，學校實施小班教學會按學習目標和學生需要訂定教學組的大小和數目；每班派位人數不應也不須和教學組的大小劃上等號。 The school practises small class teaching with the number of school places for allocation being basically 25 students per class. Subject to the actual need at the Central Allocation stage, the school may be allocated more students per P1 class. Small class teaching is more concerned with the teaching and learning strategy and involves teaching setting or grouping driven by teaching considerations. Schools implementing small class teaching may have different sizes of grouping and different numbers of groups subject to the learning objectives and students’ needs. The number of students allocated per class should not and need not be taken as equivalent to the grouping.

請注意： 

1) 根據編製本名冊時所得的資料，在 2022/2023 學年將會開辦小一班級的官立及資助學校才會列入本名冊內。

2) 視乎小一學額的供求情況，部 分學校在統一派位階段亦會供其他學校網的申請兒童選擇，及／或增加預留的學額，即「暫定統一派位學額」。 

3) 家長請注意，直接資助計劃小 學、私立小學及英基學校協會屬下小學，均不在小一入學統 籌辦法之內，家長如希望子女入讀該等學校，應直接向有關學校申請。 

4) 自行分配學位學額是按各學校的暫定開辦小一班級數目(即按現有小六班級數目或全校課室數目除以六的結果而定 (在有足夠課室情況下，取兩者中較大的數目) 計算。最終各學校獲准開辦的小一班級數目會按既定準則視乎實際學位需要而定。 

Please note: 

1) Based on the information available at the time of compiling this booklet, only government / aided schools that may operate Primary 1 classes in the 2022/2023 school year have been included.

2) Subject to the demand and supply of Primary 1 places, at the Central Allocation stage, some schools may also serve other school nets and/or increase the school places for allocation, i.e. their “provisional number of places for Central Allocation”.

3) Please note that Direct Subsidy Scheme primary schools, private primary schools and schools of the English Schools Foundation do not participate in the Primary One Admission System. Parents who wish to send their children to these schools are advised to apply to the schools direct.

4) The Discretionary Places Quota is based on the provisional number of P1 classes, which is derived from the number of outgoing P6 classes or the number of classrooms divided by 6 (whichever is the greater and subject to the availability of classrooms), of the schools. The actual number of P1 classes approved for a school is determined according to the established criteria taking into account the actual demand.
